Red Roes story

This blog’s inspired by my boyfriend Vincent.

The conversation between me and my bf on January 27,09.

He asked me: “Do you like a flower? “
I replied: “of course baby, I love flowers, I even dreamed to own the flower shop”
So he continued: “what kind of flower you like? You like white rose? “
And I said: “No I don’t like white rose, it looks weak and too soft. The day’s gone and it turns yellow. It’s got to be a red rose, red like the bird blood”

And he said: “It doesn’t sound romantic when you said Red like bird blood”

Sudden the story from my childhood came up to my mind
I replied: “It’s the most romantic story baby, it’s for love. My English teacher when I was in high school used to tell us the Valentine’s stories, and this is one of them”

So I started to tell him the story in brief that I still can recall and Google for the exact story and so I found.

Some of you might have heard and some doesn’t. Though in real life I’m not a fan of birds at all but I want to share why I love red rose.




“Once upon a time a bird fell in love with a white rose. One day she (bird) proposed him (white rose), but white rose refused. White rose said I don't love you. Bird daily came and proposed him. Finally, white rose said when I turn red, I will love you. One day bird came and cut her wings and spread her blood on the rose and the rose turned red. Then the rose realized how much bird loved him but it was too late because bird was dead.”

There’re many nice stories about red rose from birds, such as Humming bird or The Nightingale and the rose by Oscar Wilde. If you are interested I think there’re many to share in Google.

Chinese New Year

Being a girlie, not only have to know how to make-up but also how to make meals.

Today I have very easy recipe for anyone who never cook or not good at it.
I have to work up at 5.30 in the morning today to help my mom prepare foods for big day of Chinese New Year worship.
Stir fried pork with garlic is one of the main dish to worship our family members who pass away. They believe, stir fried meat with garlic means giving us luck of money.

Here’s the Chinese easiest dish you can do it, it isn't spicy at all, I think it's very good dish to make for my boyfriend as he can't eat too spicy food.






You need Garlic and Meat.
I chose Pork.
Prepare the oil
(any vegetable oil, I used sunflower)
and fish sauce





First of all, slice the pork thinly to pieces as much as you like. Rest in the plate.
Second, chop the garlic to small pieces also but make it slanting.

Put the pan on the medium heat and pour the oil into the pan make it warm up abit.


Then put all the meat and stir it until it well-done. Follow with garlic picture number 4 because it needs time more than the leaves one. You see it turn soft then follow with the leave garlic. Stir afew minute and add fish sause and taste it until you satisfy. Very easy!!

Tip: My mom always add abit of seasoning powder

(but I don't like it so I won't add it)

I want to share the review of my Items, I've been using. Hope it helps!

I got beloved bf, and he's been giving me gifts and esp make-ups.

First.. My Dior 2 colors 185 Watery Look.
Thanks to Dior that they gave us a make-up tip inside the box.

I thought I couldn't work with Blue, as I follow to Show off Look, it works!

I could do smoky look with blue. I would suggest if you are a fun person and like to color, this watery look would be a good choice, no matter what color your skin is.

I don't have a camera with me right now so I used web cam instead.

Second.. My fav lipstick CLARINS 720(melon) Joli Rouge.

It's not strong color as it's a long-wearing moisturizing lipstick but it's good for your lip

I love it so much and it smells very nice like melon favour, very sweet! My friend who never uses any lipstick before, only Vaseline. I could suggest her for this one. She will not feel that it's too much.

This is wasn't my color but want to show the package.

Very modern and elegant.

The last I want to show is my YSL eyeliner.

It's a thin line but also give you a big sparkling eyes. It's a light eyeliner but if you like it very thick and dark I won't recommend. Perhaps you should try "Divinora" by Guerlain, I owned it and I love it.

Whatever eye-liner you are using, make sure when you apply it and let it dry before you open your eyes. So it won't make any mess later, but if it does, use the cotton move it out gentle.

Now I'm gonna skip other steps of make up to

"Show off" look when it's done.

I love this look, and I'm glad I am an Asian.
